With some of the most advanced hardware as well as software currently on the market, the Apple iPhone 4 has received an unparalleled level of media coverage and public hype. So without further ado, let’s take a look at what is arguably the most versatile phone in the world.

Video Calling – Introducing FaceTime.

Whilst video calling is nothing new per se, the iPhone 4 offers a new breed of video call called face time. This allows users to carry out video calling in unparalleled quality thanks to the ability to utilise Wi-Fi networks to broadcast high quality footage, as well as view it in HD thanks to the new retina display.

Five Megapixel Digital Camera.

One of the pet peeves of previous iPhone users was the low pixel count in its cameras. The original iPhone and the iPhone 3G has a mere 2 Megapixel count. Apple listened to its customers and provided a 3.2 Megapixel camera with the 3GS. With the introduction of the iPhone 4, the camera has been improved further, with a respectable 5 Megapixels, with flash. This makes for excellent quality still imagery as well as impressive video footage capabilities. Video can be shot in stunning 720p HD, which has to be seen to be believed.

iPhone 4G – Coming in June 2010

Rumours are beginning to circulate that we will see a new and improved iPhone 4G in June 2010. Initial release will be in America on the Verizon Wireless network and releasing across the UK and Europe soon after.

So what are the benefits of the new iPhone 4G and why should you consider an upgrade from your existing iPhone 3G or 3GS?

First of we can expect much faster downloading speeds and multi tasking capabilities (Hence the 4G, rather than 3G title). Also a faster dual core processor and better graphical capabilities. This will allow for more advanced apps and internet usage. (more…)
